Artist's Comments
Inspired by my favorite Joanna Newsom song. I made this as my Senior project. It even made it into the display case.
This thing has so much symbolism in it, I don't even know what it's supposed to mean anymore. Made with acrylic, real feathers (duck, seagull and pheasant), guitar string, rhinestones and sawdust collected from the tech shop. She has flaws, and boy don't I know it, but I love this work anyway. I'll get a better picture of her at some point. |
